Time to slow down
The 19MP sensor has a lot going on. Not only does Sony’s predictive capture technology let you focus on things before you even press the shutter button, but you can also shoot video at 960 frames per second. This is super slow-mo, letting you see things even the human eye can’t.
Brighter photos
With larger pixels, you’ll see bolder and brighter colours in all your photos. The big pixels let more light into the lens, and with Sony’s smart exposure control, light levels are automatically adjusted to make sure evening shots look great too.

On the inside of the XZ Premium, there’s the new Snapdragon 835 processor, alongside 4GB RAM. This combo will make sure the 4K HDR display, and all your favourite apps, run smoothly. And the camera has its own processor too, to make the impressively quick frame rate possible.
Battery to last all day long
With a 3,230mAh cell capacity, the Xperia XZ Premium guarantees battery durability. But if you do find yourself in a tough spot, smart STAMINA mode will kick in. It’s able to predict how long your battery will last - based on average usage - warn you early if you’re using excess charge, and limit power-hungry apps to keep you going until you can plug in.
