Samsung Galaxy S6 Overview:

Design
The New Samsung Galaxy S6 is an amazing upgrade, it uses a full metal frame and glass construction that delivers superior look and quality. It features the latest Gorilla Glass front and back design with brilliantly machined power and volume buttons and curved corners.

Display
The Galaxy S6 features a Super AMOLED 2k Display with 577 pixels per inch, delivering a beautiful range of colours. The 2,560 x 1,440 resolution allows your phone to show a high-resolution image in incredible detail.

Operating System
The Samsung Galaxy S6 software runs on Android Lollipop, which is the latest version of Android. The Galaxy S6 software puts its features and functions you want to use front and centre which means there will be less clutter in apps and no scrolling in the camera app to get to the important features.

Battery
The S6 comes with a non removable battery. However, when you are on the go and are short on battery, not to worry, the Galaxy S6 has the ability to fast charge your battery when plugged into a charging cable. It can deliver four hours of battery life from just 10 minutes of charging. How convenient! This allows you to watch upto 2 hours of HD video from just 10 minutes of charging. 

Camera
The new smartphone packs a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera capturing moments as they happen with a launch time of only 0.7 seconds. It also features Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) which allows the camera to use a slower shutter speed, allowing it to take in more light and keeps the image stable while you hold the camera, so you get less blur in your photos and less shake in your videos. You will be able to zoom upto 8X and still get amazing results.

IR White Balance Detection
The S6 uses IR White Balance detection to detect the light around and adjust the camera to capture accurate colours and crisper blur-free images.

HDR (Rich tone)
HDR mode lets you take pictures and capture video when there is either too much or too little light. Auto Live HDR shows you a preview of how the photo will be taken in HDR, instead of showing you the dark or light preview. HDR photos are also taken quicker, cancelling out the need to stay still.

Wireless Charging
The Samsung Galaxy S6 features wireless charging. The Galaxy S6 wireless charging works on WPC and PMA chargers which means almost any wireless charger you find will support it.

Heart Rate Sensor
Samsung includes S Health 4.0 on the Galaxy S6. In conjunction with the heart rate sensor on the back of the phone allows users to track their heart rate and stress levels.

Samsung Pay
The Galaxy S6 supports making mobile payments with NFC, known as Samsung Pay which also includes the ability to make payments with wireless magnetic card data. It is accepted in 90% of retail locations, which is much broader than NFC payment support but with a secure fingerprint connected solution.

Fingerprint Sensor
The Samsung Galaxy S6 packs a new and improved fingerprint sensor than its predecessor built in to the home button. This lets users place a finger on top of the home button to unlock the smartphone or make a mobile payment. This new sensor will make it easier to unlock the phone, make mobile payments and use apps.

Private Mode
The Samsung Galaxy S6 includes the Private Mode feature which allows users to lock, secure and hide specific files separately which cannot be accessible by others. When you are in Private Mode, all your photos, videos and other files which you have hidden are accessible but once you exit Private Mode, you cannot see any of your hidden files. Only you can unlock the hidden files with your fingerprint sensor.

Ultra Power Saving Mode
The Samsung Galaxy S6 packs a 2550mAh battery, you can now charge 50% of the battery in just 30 minutes. It features Ultra Power Saving technology which helps you extend your smartphone's battery life when you are running out of charge. It simply, disables wifi and all running applications and services but does not let you miss out on important calls and messages. Once the Ultra Power Saving Mode is switched on, it can last you a whole day so you do not have to miss out on anything important. You could get upto 24 hours or even more power with as little as 10 percent remaining battery. If battery performance is important to you, then the Ultra Power Saving Mode is the solution.

Download Booster
The Download Booster allows you to combine both the LTE connection and WiFi into one virtual connection. It allows you to split a download over the LTE connection and WiFi when both are available to give you an unparalleled network experience. In addition, this feature allows you to split a download between a WiFi and LTE connection which reduces the time needed to wait for your content to load. It basically doubles your total speed. The Download Booster speed may vary according to network environment and location.

IR Blaster
Thanks to the IR Blaster you can easily connect to most TV and entertainment systems. You can also set it up to control devices at a friends house, at a bar and many other places. This essentially turns the Galaxy S6 into a high-powered remote control.
