Overview

The Huawei P10 Plus, co-engineered with Leica, takes smartphone photography to the next level. It features dual rear cameras enabling you to capture impressive photos with sharp and clear details. 
The capabilities even exceed the Huawei P10, by offering sensors with an F1.8 aperture, for better light capture. This produces more realistic photos which are both brighter and sharper.

Whilst the design of the phone is superb, owing to the time Huawei has spent refining the look and feel of it, the craftsmanship exceeds many expectations with high-quality materials being used, and an exceptional finish.

Design

Huawei is renowned for producing great looking designs. With the P10 Plus, they continue this tradition utilising the latest technology, thereby improving the look and feel of the phone so that it is comfortable to use and looks stunning.

With the P10 Plus, a Hyper Diamond-cutting finish has been applied. This gives the phone a superb tactile feel. It also has the benefit of producing brilliant light reflection, for interesting patterns on the surface of the phone.

Depending on the colour variant, the finish available may be high gloss or sandblast.

The back of the phone is, however, only part of the design. Huawei has given it soft elongated edges, which, like every part of this phone, are expertly crafted. The subtly curved 2.5D glass covering the display, made from Gorilla Glass 5, finalises the unique and beautiful look.

A fingerprint sensor has been added to the front of the Huawei P10 Plus. This features an under glass design element, for a seamless look. This doesn’t detract from the overall crafting of the phone and makes it easy to enhance the security of your phone.

Camera

The dual cameras on the rear of the Huawei P10 Plus include a 12MP colour and a 20MP black and white. In combination, these produce amazing results as the F1.8 aperture allows greater light for better exposure. This also increases the sharpness and clarity of photos.

A new feature is the ability to use precise 3D facial detection. This, along with the dynamic illumination and nature portrait enhancements, provides the ability to capture stunning artistic portrait shots, thereby releasing your creativity in full.

With the dual-tone flash, the user is able to capture natural-looking images even in low light conditions. You should achieve the photo you want, even when lighting is not ideal.

In order to ensure that you don’t miss a photo opportunity, the P10 Plus includes two focus technologies. PDAF (phase focusing) is used to rapidly focus, whereas CAF (contrast focusing) compares the clarity of different images to provide enhanced detail. These technologies work together to provide you with high-quality photos which can be taken almost instantly.

4K video recording is available and benefits from the inclusion of optical image stabilisation, giving you the ability to record movies without blur, this also improves photos.

Capture the best selfie portraits with the Leica front-facing camera. This 8-megapixel camera is, thanks to its new sensor, able to capture double the amount of light, offering amazing photos whether it is day or night.

The P10 Plus is able to detect if you are taking a photo of a single person or a group. This enables it to adjust its lens to a wide-angle shot when there are more people to include.

Performance

The ultra-fast Kirin 960 processor keeps the Huawei P10 Plus performance at its optimal levels, ensuring that not only is it fast and responsive when you first use it, but it continues to be in the months ahead.

Ultra Memory technology improves the phone's ability to allocate, recycle and compress memory. This results in your apps loading faster than ever before. There will also be plenty of space for running multiple apps, as a stunning 6GB of RAM memory is included.

Plenty of space is available for storing apps and media files with 128GB of storage being provided. This can, if necessary, be complimented with the ability to use, up to, 256GB SD cards via the MicroSD slot. A truly impressive amount of space.

Display

It is possible to charge your phone for 30 minutes and secure an entire day of usage owing to the Huawei Super Charge feature, so you spend less time charging and use your phone more.
